Slim Twit - Twitter Client Windows Mobile 6

3. May 2009

So here are some screenshots of my twitter client I made for my HTC Touch Pro. I'm excited about it because my specialty is ASP.NET. I'm a beginner when it comes to windows forms, and windows mobile forms..well..geez is there something below beginner?! Anyway here is how it turned out. The problem I still have is why the profile images won't download correctly. For some reason I'm still getting a timeout after it downloads a couple of them. It's weird. Oh well I'll worry about that later.

This is fantastic!! Have you seen the facebook app made by Microsoft? Maybe that will also give you some more ideas for your app.

I'm trying to make a WM app for a piece of open source software I contribute to and would absolutley LOVE to get some guidance from you.

Can I have a look at your code for the Twitter app? it would help e greatly. You an email t to me. Thanks

@Lovemore

My overall goal for this is to have it open source, but I'm jumping back and forth because Microsoft  is supposed to be coming out with an App store for mobile phones in the future.  What project are your contributing too for open source?  Also, I did check out that facebook app that microsoft made. Looked pretty good.

Looks good John.

some questions:
- can it show attached pictures ?
- can it handle multiple usernames ?
- where can it be installed to use ?

For the rest....... keep on working on it.
It prommiss to be a great tool.

Thanks Ger. To answer your questions: 1) No it can't show attached pictures 2) No it can't handle multiple usernames (you have to login to the app as is) 3) Right now it was just for my phone. No installer is made. I just wanted a client for my phone and learn. However, doesn't mean I won't make it available for a few phones in the future
